Sheikh Abdulaziz bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, the Chairman of the Department of Tourism, Culture & Media – Ajman, and Sheikh Rashid bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, the Chairman of the Municipality & Planning Department – Ajman, participated in a session for the “Expansion of the Scope of Investments” within the proceedings of the “Government Dialogue With the Private Sector”, which is being held for the first time in the course of the UAE Government Annual Meetings 2025 in Abu Dhabi.

The session discussed the mechanisms for expanding the volume and speed of the flow of private capital to small & medium enterprises (SMEs) and promising sectors, supporting the growth of the national economy and enhancing its role in the accomplishment of the targets of UAE Vision 2031.

Furthermore, the participants discussed the opportunities for financing SMEs, constituting more than 95% of the companies operating in the UAE and providing 86% of jobs in the private sector, while they emphasized the importance of the development of innovative financing solutions that contribute to empowering this vital sector and increasing its contribution to sustainable economic development.

The participation of Sheikh Abdulaziz bin Humaid Al Nuaimi and Sheikh Rashid bin Humaid Al Nuaimi takes part as an emphasis of the commitment of the Government of Ajman to bolstering partnership with the private sector in drafting a more integrated and innovative economic future, and instilling a flexible and attractive business environment that supports business entrepreneurship and investment in new sectors.
