Two MoUs signed on Ajman International Urban Planning Conference sidelines

The 10th Ajman International Urban Planning Conference eyed the signing of two Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) aimed at enhancing life quality, supporting sustainable urban development, and developing smart infrastructure in the Emirate of Ajman. The first MoU was signed by the Ministry of Family Affairs and the Municipality and Planning Department – Ajman (MPDA), to support family programs and promote the integration of family development concepts into public and private urban spaces, in line with the UAE National Agenda for Family Development 2031, thus contributing to family stability and improved life quality.

In the presence of His Excellency Sheikh Rashid bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, Chairman of the MPDA, and Her Excellency Sanaa bint Mohammed Suhail, Minister of Family Affairs, the MoU was signed by His Excellency Abdul-Rahman Al Nuaimi, Director General of the MPDA, and Hessa Tahlak, Assistant Undersecretary at the Ministry.

During the conference, the MPDA signed a MoU with Parkin Company to enhance cooperation in smart parking management, monitoring and enforcement services for parking infrastructure, and the development of multi-story car parks in the Emirate of Ajman, thereby contributing to raising service efficiency and improving user experience.

The MoU was signed by His Excellency Abdul-Rahman Mohammed Al Nuaimi, Director General of the MPDA, and Mohammed Al Ali, CEO of Parkin.

Signing the two MoUs reflects the keenness of three entities to strengthen institutional partnerships and develop innovative urban solutions that support sustainability and align with the Emirate of Ajman’s aspirations to build smart, integrated cities that provide better life quality.
