His Excellency Sheikh Rashid bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, Chairman of the Municipality and Planning Department – Ajman (MPDA), asserted that the Ajman International Urban Planning Conference is a leading platform for exchanging expertise and knowledge among specialists and decision-makers, and contributes to supporting the Emirate’s efforts to develop a sustainable urban environment that enhances life quality and meets community aspirations, drawing inspiration from its rich heritage to shape a better future for all.

This came during His Excellency’s visit to the conference venue on its second day, where His Excellency attended the panel discussions and accompanying workshops, and learned about the key themes on its agenda, commending the high level of organization and the participation of a distinct group of experts, academics, and specialists.

His Excellency Sheikh Rashid bin Humaid Al Nuaimi also attended specialized panel discussions that focused on urban planning, family and society, arts and heritage, along with a community council session, wherein a number of officials and experts participated.

The organization of this conference reflects the MPDA’s keenness to strengthen knowledge partnerships and open dialogue channels between government, academic, and private entities, thereby supporting the sustainable urban development of the Emirate of Ajman.
